Little girl, big character...

Team leaders Janet and Kelly recently got back from their trip to Uganda. As most of you know they saw lots of local team members and people. While they were at one of the community wells, several people came to get water for their day. Among those at the well was this beautiful child, who came with what she had to retrieve water. This reminds me of both the woman at the well in John chapter 4 and the story of the woman who gave what she had from Luke chapter 21. Both of these stories are great testaments to our potential as followers of Christ. The fact that this little girl is being faithful in the little is what is so beautiful about this image. (Luke 16:10) Clean water is not a setback a child should have to be responsible for solving, but yet here she is, quietly walking in faith completely unaware of the inspiration she is to people across the globe. #missions #tenacity
